My Favorite Thanksgiving Episodes

I do not have a variety of shows that have my favorite Thanksgiving episodes. Most of them are episodes of "Friends", which had several fantastic Thanksgiving episodes. They are all very memorable and of course, I can not forget the classic of "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving".

"The One with the Football" (Friends) - The first classic "Friends" Thanksgiving episode didn't occur to season three, but it was definitely worth the wait. Finding out about Monica and Ross's past family football games is hilarious. The gang decide to start the tradition again by playing a game of touch football. Monica and Ross's teams are each trying to win the Geller cup, which was taken away when Monica broke Ross's nose during a football game when they were little. The game is a riot, with Ross not letting Rachel play and Chandler and Joey fighting over a Dutch woman who is watching the game. One of the best parts is Joey thinking the Netherlands is where Peter Pan is from. The episode ends with Monica and Ross fighting for the ball and everyone else enjoying their Thanksgiving dinner. Great episode.

"The One with Chandler in a Box" (Friends) - After Chandler kisses Joey's girlfriend, Chandler decides that to prove his loyalty to Joey, he is going to stay in a box for all of Thanksgiving. Meanwhile, Monica gets ice in her eye and invites her optometrist, her ex-boyfriend's son, to Thanksgiving. The jokes ensue about Monica dating her ex's son and about how she can tell their children she slept with their grandfather. Also, Chandler in the box is just hilarious and the makeup between Chandler and Joey is great.

"The One With All the Thanksgivings" (Friends) - Each of the friends relive their worst Thanksgiving. It ranges from Chandler's parents divorce to Joey getting a Turkey stuck on his head to awesome '80s flashbacks to Phoebe thinking of Thanksgiving in the 1800s.

"The One Where Ross Got High" (Friends) - Who can forget Rachel making an English triffle with beef. "It tastes like feet!", which is how Ross responds to it. Also, the whole story on Ross blaming Chandler for getting high and Ross and Monica's parents hating Chandler because of it. Classic.

The remaining seasons' Thanksgiving episodes had some classic moments as well such as "The I Hate Rachel Club" story with Brad Pitt and the gang being late to Thanksgiving dinner. I wish TV shows still had classic Thanksgiving episodes like this because they were pretty fantastic.
